Basic Skills-Part II Introduction to the Internet
Description: Participants will become familiar with the basics of navigating and effectively using the internet, email basics, privacy and safety. Participants must have completed the Basic Skills: Intro to Computers course or have basic computer skills.
Objective:
Lates & Absences: Class starts at - please arrive on time. If you are more than 30 minutes late, it will be counted as an absence. If you know you will be absent or late, please tell your instructor in advance. If you have 3 unexcused absences, you will be dropped from the class.
Projects & Assignments: There will be 5 or more projects assigned during this course. You must complete and turn in at least 50% of the assignments to the instructor to have successfully completed the course.
